Galway wedding venue, Hotel Meyrick invite you to their 'wedding taster with a twist'

by Editor@BookOurWedding 27. January 2011 08:48

Ros na Rún characters Róise (Linda Breathnach) and Johnny (Marcus Seoighe) set tongues wagging in Galway with their public proposal at Hotel Meyrick, Eyre Square. However, the surprise engagement isn’t a new storyline for the stunning pair- it’s all part of the fun for the hotel’s Mock Wedding which will be hosted at the elegant 4 star hotel on Saturday 5th February.

Celebrations will kick off from 7pm, with a glitzy champagne reception with piano accompaniment, the Mock Wedding will give brides and grooms-to-be the opportunity to experience the hotel as the perfect wedding venue. Mock wedding guests will later be treated to a traditional wedding reception, with surprises during the evening including a scrumptious four-course meal in the hotel’s majestic ballroom and plenty of entertainment including DJ Freebird who will play well into the early hours! And to give the wedding an interesting twist, Róise (Linda Breathnach) and Johnny (Marcus Seoighe) will play the part of the Newlyweds!! But is all really as it seems? And will our celebrity priest be giving his blessing? With plenty of side-splitting speeches, storylines and famous faces to spot, the Mock Wedding at Hotel Meyrick promises to be  yet another one to remember!

Renowned as Galway’s leading wedding venue, the Victorian style four star hotel will be set exactly as it would for an actual wedding so guests can really experience the hotel before exchanging their vows and treat their family and friends to the ultimate wedding reception! All couples in search of the perfect wedding venue are invited to attend Hotel Meyrick’s Mock Wedding but must reserve their place for this very special occasion.

For further details visit www.hotelmeyrick.ie, alternatively call the hotel’s dedicated wedding coordinators on +353 (0) 91 564041.
