Honeymoon in the Romantic Island of Jamaica - By Amanda Cooper

Planning a wedding can indeed be a stressful time for any wedding couple so it is important that they have something to look forward to after their wedding day which will give them the chance to relax and unwind.
For those newlyweds that are in desperate need of that ultimate and romantic honeymoon vacation, look no further than the tropical island of Jamaica! Located in the Caribbean Sea, about ninety miles south of the country of Cuba, lies this exotic island of Jamaica. This beautiful and lush island offers its guests gorgeous views of the sea and stunning natural features. Since the weather and Jamaica's climate do not change drastically throughout the year, anytime will be a great time to book a honeymoon to this piece of paradise.

No matter your honeymoon budget, you will be sure to find that perfect retreat in Jamaica. From basic to luxury accommodations and everything in between, your ideal honeymoon is waiting for you in Jamaica. Picture yourselves being pampered on the beach, or having your waiter serve you refreshing tropical drinks while lounging poolside. Or maybe just a small boutique hotel right on the famous white beaches of Negril would be more to your liking. Remember it is not always about where you stay on your honeymoon, but who you are sharing it with that makes your honeymoon stand out from all your other vacations.

There are many interesting, historic and stunning places to see and visit while staying on the island of Jamaica. The beautiful Montego Bay with its array of turquoise colours will have you admiring how beautiful nature can truly be. This area offers travellers much to do, such as seeing the old plantation houses from many years ago.

You could even visit Bob Marley's birthplace! The infamous Doctor Cave Beach is also located in Montego Bay and is a place not to be missed. There are even abundant outdoor craft markets for those who enjoy shopping for hand-crafted items.

Ocho Rios is another picturesque Jamaican town that holds some natural gems. Enjoy the scenery of the town by enjoying a classic Jamaican cocktail or trying some jerked chicken at the many restaurants and bars that dot along this charming town.

Be sure to visit and cool off at the Dunn's River Falls. These exquisite waterfalls cascade down 600 feet and the falls make for quite a romantic setting to take that perfect newlywed picture! It is makes for the ultimate location to cool off from Jamaica's tropical weather!

Finally, another hidden Jamaican gem is the town of Port Antonio. This romantic town is ideal for honeymooners. The both of you can explore and swim in the world-renowned Blue Lagoon. This fresh-water lagoon sparkles with brilliant shades of blue and is the perfect romantic spot for all looking to spend time with loved ones. Also, in the San Antonio area are both the isolated Frenchman's Cove and another set of stunning fall, the Reach Falls.

As you can see, there is more than just the beautiful sand, sea, and sun in Jamaica that keeps visitors coming back year after year!
