It is interesting to see that TenSquare Belfast is now offering couples a fixed price wedding package.

Is this something that would interest you as a bride?
I would imagine that this type of offering would be very attractive to brides who like the idea of working to a fixed budget and who would like to know the upfront cost of their wedding so that they can save accordingly. However I am unsure of how appealing it would be for those brides who would like to have a say in who will be doing their wedding photography or who will be baking their wedding cake.
Many brides spend months upon months researching the wedding industry and after numerous phone calls, price checks and reviews make a decision on which wedding suppliers they will work with. For some this can be an enjoyable experience whereas others could view it as being their worst nightmare.
The fixed price wedding package from Ten Square includes:
Full use of Porcelain Events Suite for 100 guests including:
- Master of Ceremonies
- Red Carpet
- Complimentary glass of bubbles for Bride & Groom
- Custom-Made Menus and table plan
- Cake stand & knife
- Mirrored centrepieces & candles for tables
- Drinks reception on arrival to include:

Is £10,000 for the above wedding package deemed as ‘good value for money?’
When I examined what was included in this fixed price wedding package, two things stood out.
The first was that the package includes 48 bottles of red and white house wine. However if a couple are inviting 100 guests and bear in mind that not everyone drinks and not everyone drinks wine, do we have a need for 48 bottles of house wine.
The second thing worth mentioning is that this wedding package does not include wedding transport, wedding videography, and wedding stationery. So depending on the couples own requirements there may be other expenses you need to add to this figure.
